Creating documents
Start from a template or from what you already have.
- From Documents, create a new resume, CV or cover letter and pick a template.
- Import an existing resume from a PDF, Word file, image or pasted text to skip retyping.
- Link a cover letter to a resume so it uses the same design.
- Every change saves automatically, and version history lets you go back.
Editing and layout
Type straight onto the page.
- Add, reorder and hide sections to match the job you’re applying for.
- Page Limit offers 1 Page, 2 Pages or No Limit. Resumes start at one page; CVs have no limit.
- Tidy Up balances two-column layouts and removes dead space in one step, and one Undo reverses it.
- Page-break controls start a section on a new page or keep an entry together.
Design
Change the look without breaking the layout.
- Quick Style changes accent color, fonts, header and entry layout in one click each.
- The Design panel controls spacing, colors, dividers, sidebars and section cards, with search.
- Choose US Letter, A4 or a custom page size, under Page in Design.
- Arabic and Hebrew documents lay out right to left.
Checking and downloading
Know the file is right before you send it.
- The readability check flags low contrast, small text and tight spacing, with one-click fixes.
- The export check reads your file back the way an applicant-tracking system does.
- Download PDF, Word (DOCX), plain text, Markdown, HTML or a JSON backup.
- There’s no watermark and no download limit.
Tracking applications
Keep your job search in one place.
- The job tracker keeps roles, companies, stages and notes together.
- Attach the resume and cover letter you sent to each application.
- Move a job through stages as you hear back.
- Find any application quickly with search.
